This home business has been approved by the City of Maple Ridge as a large commercial space, as it actually takes up half of the second floor! The treatment rooms have all been renovated, and offer a warm, soothing atmosphere where you're able to completely relax. You'll be amazed at the variety of services there are to choose from!

At Chateau Ridge Salon & Spa we take every precaution to safeguard your health. Both in terms of protecting you from the threat of Coronavirus while you’re in our establishment, but also in terms of protecting you from the lesser known dangers present in the beauty industry.
Did you know that disinfecting instruments alone is not enough to ensure all bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores are completely destroyed and inactivated? This is why we take sterilization so seriously!
COVID-19 Prevention Protocols
We’re looking out for your health and safety from the moment you enter our doors. Upon entering you will be offered hand sanitizer, gloves, and a mask. At this time we are asking that you please leave your purse and other items in the car, only bringing in the essentials with you. We will ensure a distance of at least 6 feet is maintained between you and any other client in the establishment. We will be wearing the appropriate gloves and mask from the moment we greet you at the door to the moment you leave. We have installed sneeze guards in multiple locations throughout the salon to provide yet another barrier between client and practitioner. All surfaces and tools in the Salon & Spa are disinfected and sanitized between each client, so you know you’re walking into a clean environment!
General Health and Safety Protocols
I have worked in the dental industry for over 30 years and have acquired an extensive knowledge of the disinfecting and sterilization protocols required to protect clients. I have brought this knowledge with me to Chateau Ridge Salon & Spa, so you’ll never need to worry about the cleanliness of our establishment or the tools used in your treatment. We use medical grade solutions as well as an autoclave to sterilize tools.

Meet the Team!
Najah
Hi - I’m Najah Matthews, the owner of Chateau Ridge Salon & Spa. I’m a certified medical aesthetician specializing in IPL Laser Hair Removal and Laser Skin Rejuvenation. I have been involved in the Salon & Spa industry for over 30 years. This industry has always been a passion of mine. My education started when I was a teenager and took a full makeup program. Since then I have become self taught and confident when it comes to hair cuts, styles, and colouring.
I spent many years working in the dental field, which taught me the importance of proper sterilization. We are now using so many of these same health and safety procedures in Chateau Ridge Salon & Spa. My first business was running a mobile salon & spa in the evenings and weekends. I later established a home business for nails, make-up and hair. Chateau Ridge Salon & Spa is really the culmination of these two businesses - providing most services from both the beauty and health prospective, all under one roof, in a residential area!
